![]() While the Uzumaki Clan's existence may have ended, its legacy lives on in the form of its deadly sealing techniques, with one forbidden jutsu being the pinnacle of the Uzumaki's prowess – the Reaper Death Seal.ĭespite belonging to the Uzumaki Clan, the Reaper Death Seal has only been used by Minato Namikaze and Hiruzen Sarutobi, meaning the secrets of this technique are known among the Leaf’s elders. Their Fuinjutsu were feared throughout the shinobi world, so much that the Great Nations had to band together to annihilate this revered clan. And of course based on the ease by which he passed Yin Kurama into BZ.The Naruto Franchise features several clans and bloodlines that are distinct due to their unique techniques, yet none come close to the Uzumaki's power in terms of sealing jutsu. Ergo "I know you want me to meet him, but why the reaper death seal?!" frantically. No real explanation was provided, more likely than not he didn't want just Kushina to die and he also felt Naruto would eventually attain what he and Jiraiya couldn't with their normal shinobi powers, by granting naruto the advantage of the beast 50% Kurama (100% he believed to be too much for Naruto to control).īased on Kunshina's comments it was implied that Minato could have sealed Kurama away with other methods. ![]() RDS isn't about chakra pools, he chose to use RDS so Naruto had a chance to use the Kyuubi's chakras (splitting them in half - no other seal can split a bijuu in half- and also to seal the other half away forever) later in life. ![]() Minato didn't have much issue moving Yin Kurama from his own body into Black Zetsu instantaneously with one arm. She is the only true immortal (cannot be eradicated completely) in the series, who also happens to have a supernatural life force that can be revived through the bijuu- splits of her true form. If you combined a female body and the death demon you'd get something that looks like Kaguya.īut yeah, she's one individual that reaper would fail to kill, the caster is irrelevant, it's debatable whether she even has a soul to be reaped. Not surprising though, she acquired her power from the dead souls of many eras and was transformed into a demon (son's own words) after eating the fruit. The interesting thing being the death demon/reaper ooks very much like Kaguya if you study it's appearance closely. ![]() Do you think minato could seal a portion of kaguyas power like he sealed 50% of kurama? If so how much of kaguya could he seal? If minato had kurama sealed within him, do you think hed be capable of sealing more of kaguyas chakra than if he was restricted to base?įOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS THREAD KAGUYA CANNOT DEFEND HERSELF AT ALL SHE IS FORCED TO STAND THERE AND WAIT FOR MINATO TO HIT HER WITH RDS HOWEVER KAGUYA IS ALLOWED TO RESIST ITS EFFECT IF SHE IS ABLE My money is on RDS not being able to do much against kaguya, but im curious as to what you think. Minatos skill with it allowed him to seal 50% of kurama despite being exhausted and very low on chakra by his own admission, and retained enough strength afterwards to seal the other 50% of kurama within naruto despite not only performing the RDS moments earlier, but also being run through by kuramas claw didnt seem to impede him either. Kaguya is established as outright immortal, and the only way to defeat her is through a viciously powerful seal, now, outside of Rikudo CT, id say RDS is pretty up there when it comes to powerful seals. Now im more than aware that Kaguya>Insert dimensional gap here>Minato in every way barring who has the better waifu, cuz minato wins that by a landslide thanks to kushina, but moving on. ![]()
